Season of Restoration

Season of Restoration

“Therefore repent and convert so that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord” Act 3:19 KJV

Restoration is to return all things to their previous, pure state or bring back to the original state of perfection. It is not only to return things to its pure state but sometimes to make it better than what it was. Just like the restoration of Job in which his latter end was greater and better than what it was before. Restoration has to do with renewal, reinstating, rebirthing or reestablishing that which has been lost, hijacked, taken away or that which we ought to have that we never had.

“And Benhadad said unto him, The cities, which my father took from thy father, I will restore…” 1 Kings 20:34

Some of the things that God will restore in this season are land, prosperity, good health, life [John 10:10], blessings, favor [Ps. 102:13, power [Acts 1:8] and joy [Phil. 4:4]. Even our youthful look, energy and strength God renews or restores like an eagle [Psalm 103:5]. There is the personal spiritual restoration where inner strength is regained and resolve in our pursuit of God is established; the ailing or backsliding believers are also restored [Gal. 6:1], restoring physical things we ought to have or have lost [wheat, wine and oil – Joel 2:24], and the eschatological restoring the new heaven and the new earth. Lastly our minds are renewed [that is mental alertness and turning to live according to God’s truth – Titus 3:5] so that we can be transformed to become like the image of Jesus through the word of God [Romans 12:2, 2 Cor. 3:16-18, Eph. 4:23].

We must not fail to mention the fact that God has promised to restore the Spirit and Power of Elijah in this dispensation for the works of the ministry [Mark 9:11-13, Malachi 4:5, Luke 1:17]. The first restoration though is our perturbed relationship with God as Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross and as many as believed in Him shall be restored as children of God. Our original condition or relationship like Adam had before eating the forbidden fruit is restored here and we are remade in the divine image of God [Gen. 1:26].

“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed” Joel 2:25-27 KJV

The first thing mentioned by God here is that we should “be glad”. Having a glad countenance means that you are positively affected by pleasure and you are filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory. You may not have seen it but you have an assurance from the throne room of God that good things are coming your way.

The second thing is that an overflow or cup of blessing that runs over is coming your way because both the former rain (things that eluded you in the past) and the latter rain (things you supposed to have now), will jam themselves at your door step and you shall have plenty leading to the fact that your reproach is taken away and you shall never again be ashamed because God has given you double blessings, taken away the pains and agonies and you are now a delightsome land called “Buelah”. You are no more desolate or forsaken but Hephzibah [Isaiah 62:4]

In the same token you have an assurance of “satisfaction guaranteed” because the Lord your God has done wondrously, wonderfully, amazingly, blessedly and gloriously on to you. God as “Emmanuel” has come to tabernacle inside you as the treasure in earthen vessel and the anointing of the Holy Spirit that comes with it has destroyed every yoke and lift off every burden [Isaiah 10:27]

Despite popular believe God can send leanness into our soul as part of His judgment or when we are being proved but thank God for this affirmative statement or prophetic injunction that He is set to give back to us that which He originally intended to be ours.

“He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance” Psalm 105:17-21 KJV

Joseph though born into a wealthy family was sold into slavery and went to prison suffering the penalty of what he never did but the time came for his vision to speak and heaven and earth moved on his behalf such that Pharaoh the king had a dream and in interpreting it, Joseph was reinstated and the intent of God was established in his life. This season you are unstoppable! Heaven and earth are moving on your behalf, angels are going back and forth, your file has just appeared on the table of the CEO of heaven and the SET TIME to favor you has come! God has decreed it and it must be established. Like Joseph you may have been abandoned, forgotten and falsely accused but your time of recognition and favor has come. Whether they like it or not, they must reckon with you because you are no more a push aside.

“He restores my soul…” Psalm 23:3

There has been agitation of soul (mind, emotions and intellect) as our emotions run wild in turbulent or stormy season, and our mind is disturbed when all things are not equal but God has promised to restore our soul to quietness and serenity.

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions” Joel 2:28

Restoration cannot be accomplished without the ministry of the Holy Spirit who is outpoured unto us so that our status [Gen. 40:13, Job 8:6]; fortunes [Deut. 30:3, Ezek. 16:53] and spiritual authority [2 Sam. 8:3] can be restored.

“Now therefore, restore his wife to the man. For he is a prophet, and he shall pray for you, and you shall live. And if you do not restore her, know that you shall surely die, you, and all that are yours…And Abimelech took sheep and oxen, and men-servants and women-servants, and gave them to Abraham. And he restored him Sarah his wife. And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before you. Live where it pleases you” Genesis 20:7, 14-15

In this season just like in Gen. 20:14, kings of the earth must restore all that belongs to us that they have hijacked with interest [land, sheep, oxen and menservants and women servants].

“And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, and fell on his face and bowed to him. And David said, Mephibosheth! And he answered, Behold your servant! And David said to him, Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore you all the land of Saul your father. And you shall eat bread at my table forever” 2 Sam. 9:7 KJV

“For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after” Jer. 30:17 KJV

Mephibosheth was the son of Jonathan and the grandson of Saul the king. David the king was magnanimous enough to restore to him all that was taken away from his lineage and much more he was restored as the king son to sit and dine at the table of David the king forever.

“And Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life…And the king was talking with Gehazi, the servant of the man of God, saying, Please tell me all the great things which Elisha has done. And it happened as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, behold, the woman whose son he had RESTORED to life cried to the king for the house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O, king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha RESTORED to life. And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed to her a certain eunuch saying, RESTORE all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day when she left the land, even until now” 2 Kings 8:1, 4-6 KJV

The woman in the story above has all that belong to her taken away in the time of war but the King restored all that she had lost to her just as the King of kings is restoring all that we have lost back to us now.

“And Jehovah turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Also Jehovah added to Job all that had been his, to double” Job 42:10 KJV

We must make sure that there is no un-forgiveness in our hearts against those who hurt us while we were passing through the valley of the shadow of death so that our RESTORATION can be complete and whole. God will not forgive and restore when we still hold grudge against those who hurt us.

“And he who had died came out, bound hand and foot with sheets, and his face was bound with a cloth. Jesus said to them, Untie him and let him go!” John 11:44  AMP

  1. Work of hand bound
  2. Movement and progress bound, stagnated
  3. Face or vision bound

“Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert” Isaiah 35:4-6 KJV

On a man’s head is the instrument of sight, hearing and speaking. When the Lord comes into His temple, then we will see because the eyes of our understanding shall be illuminated, we shall hear what the Spirit is saying to the church and we will be able to speak in line with the word of God and see manifestation according to the word of God declared.

“Then He said to the man, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched it out, and it was restored whole like the other”Mat 12:13

“And after that He put His hands again on his eyes and made him look up. And he was restored and saw all clearly” Mark 8:25 KJV

The ultimate restoration is when God put us back into the Garden of Eden so that we can have the dominion mandate restored and come into a season whereby God has prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies.

“Listen to me, pursuers of righteousness; seekers of Jehovah: Look to the rock from which you were cut, and to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. For Jehovah shall comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah. Joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody” Isaiah 51:1-3 KJV

We must be ready to use scriptures to interpret scriptures. The below stated Scripture declared that this land that was desolate shall become like the Garden of Eden. It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes.

“Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it” Ezek. 36:33-36 KJV

God is set to build the ruined or disintegrated places and He will plant the desolate or deserted places. We shall no more be forgotten but remembered for good.

“After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world” Act 15:16-18 [see Amos 9:11].

The restoration of the tabernacle of David represents the indwelling of the Ark of the Covenant inside the New Testament tabernacle who we actually are [1 Cor. 3:16, 2 Cor. 6:14-16], no other tabernacle was rebuilt but spiritually speaking the Holy Ghost with its power and anointing comes to reside in us as the treasure in earthen vessel and releases the power of the age to come in us.

“And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?” John 20:14-15 KJV

David saw the blessings of God in the house of Obed–Edom and desired and seeks such aura, glory and blessings to the point that he erected the tabernacle and moved the Ark there [2 Sam. 6:17]; David sought the Presence of God with all agility without any legalism and his faith was honored and he became blessed. The time has come like Mary [John 20:14-15] that we must seek the Lord with all our body, soul and spirit so that we might have in-depth revelation of Christ like Peter because it is upon such revelation that Christ will build His Church and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it, until when we do not have the key of the Kingdom of heaven [Mat. 16:18-19].

“Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them. Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise” Neh. 5:11-12

I decree total restoration in the name of the Lord Jesus. Everything that the enemies has stopped, hindered from coming, buried, stolen  or caged that belongs to you including houses, land, money, corn, wine and vineyard be restored now in Jesus name because they must do ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE OF GOD!

God’s Grace and True Servants Of God

God’s Grace and True Servants Of God

“Samuel grew up. God was with him, and Samuel’s prophetic record was flawless. 20 Everyone in Israel, from Dan in the north to Beersheba in the south, recognized that Samuel was the real thing — a true prophet of God. 21 God continued to show up at Shiloh, revealed through his word to Samuel at Shiloh” 1 Sam 3:19-21 MSG

When a man or woman have an authentic calling from the Lord coupled with the zeal and diligence required for upward movement, you will see them growing and maturing spiritually. God’s authentic Presence will be visible in their lives and tangible glory of God will envelope them. Emmanuel [God with us] will be chaperoning all their moves and they will be so led by the Spirit of God such that none of their declarations, teaching, prophesying or display of the power of God shall be without heavens authentication.

Depending on the grace and gifts of God upon their lives their display of healing, teaching, preaching, prophesying, deliverance and so on shall be flawless for God is working with them with signs and wonders following their declaration of the Gospel Good-News. They will be recognized like Samuel as the real thing!

God will continue to showcase His works through them as the undiluted, unpolluted, ever sharp and potent word full of revelation knowledge and great wisdom will be flowing out of their mouth like rivers.

IN this season that unadulterated, precious and sharp shooting WORD of God is scarce and hard to encounter, such Men and Women will be carriers and DIVINE ORACLE!

Like the days of Jesus Christ…their listeners will be saying…What a WORD is this! He is not speaking like others! Fire and ecstatic utterances flowing through him or her is demolishing the powers that be and undeniable miracles, signs and wonders are being wrought through them!

God will continue to show Himself to the people of God by using these men or women of God whose walk with God is impeccable and who are always striving to please the Master. Such have no hidden agenda, lust after the people’s money, prophe-lying, pompous, walking in the flesh or carnal minded [not earthly minded]. They just want to please the Master and do whatever He tells them to do!

“And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I PERCEIVE that this is AN HOLY MAN OF GOD, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. 2 Kings 4:8-10

Such servants of the Most high will have testimony that they are HOLY MEN OF GOD; You will be so surprised to truly hear the perception of the people you shepherd about you; the people know you! By their fruit of the Spirit we shall know them. It is not in your impeccable preaching or your oratory power, IT IS THE FRUIT OF CHRIST LIKENESS THAT YOU BEAR!

The exuberant fragrance of holiness, righteousness, piousness, integrity and willingness to obey every directives of the LORD will be exhuming from the inner man of HOLY MEN such that even unbelievers will KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that these are true humble servants of God.

Such men will not have to do any cajoling before their every need are supplied. They will not have to raise unnecessary funds nor use the Church funds for personal use. God will supply all their need according to HIS RICHES IN GLORY by Christ Jesus. Did Elisha print any seed envelope? Did he speak to the woman for offering? Did he ask for a condominium in Florida or a duplex in Dubai?

We are to be building the LIVES of men to meet the standard of God…

Every other thing is minor!

When true servants of God qualifies for such things as per his work and walk before God, God raised up men to supply those needs without any struggle. What happens in the days of old when rich folks like Lydia the purple seller will be entreating men of God like Paul to stay in her house? What about the word of the Lord that said seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you?

I beseech you by the mercy of God, let your priority change from today. Seek the Lord while He may be found. Devote yourself totally to doing those things that pleases the Master. Read, study, meditate and do the WORD of God and surely, slowly and steadfastly you will have good success and prosper both physically and spiritually speaking!

Be ye imitators of Christ!

Divine Direction

Divine Direction

Divine Direction is the supernatural release of knowledge with wisdom for accomplishment from the throne room of grace that empowers us to be lead in the way that leads to fruitfulness in our endeavors. It is the leading of God in man’s affair; it makes us to know God’s leading and understand where, what, how, when and with whom to do what God is leading us to do. It is the accurate leading of God that leads to profit. Man’s direction always leads to frustration, contention, disappointment and failure. Man’s direction leads to rebellion and eventually witchcraft [1 Sam. 15:22].

Divine wisdom is the knowledge and the ability to discern inner qualities and relationships, insight and judgment. Right away we must understand the place of Godly wisdom in divine directionsthat is why the word states that he will lead us in the way that we should go. Wisdom is the Hebrew word “chakmah” and it is characterized by skill, craftsmanship, cleverness and cunning, and prudence in everyday matters. Biblical patriarchs like Daniel, Ezra and Joshua were filled with the spirit of wisdom; and it brought them great success.

“And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them. Act 16:8-10

In the above scripture God appearing as a man of Macedonia led Paul and other missionaries to go to Macedonia instead of Bithynia and they had successful trip having obeyed the directive of God. One small mistake being in the wrong spiritual placement will cost you dearly in fulfilling Kingdom mandate or even in making it in life.  Many have run into so called “open doors” only to find out that they are traps in disguise to inhibit progress or ensnare. Many had been deceived by the glitter of certain business open doors only to discover pits therein. All that glitters is not gold, we must double check some prophetic proclamation or test all spirits. Remember King Ahab who was wrongly led [“prophe-lied to”] by 400 prophets while it was at the insistence of king Jehoshaphat that Micaiah spoke the truth [1 King 22:7-24].

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets. The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?” Amos 3:7-8 [Check Num. 12:6, Hos. 12:10, 13]

God desires to lead us so that He can make known His will unto us. We must not be disobedient to the heavenly vision. God has mapped out His will that He wants to accomplish in and through us in the Word of God. He wants to provide for, protect and prosper us if we follow His ways and directions [3 John 2], and He seeks our best interest [2 Chron. 16:9, Jer. 29:11]. Divine directions keep us from pride [Job 33:15-17], being self-willed and from destruction [Job 33:18]

For God speaks once, yea twice, yet man perceives it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep fall upon men, in slumbering upon the bed; Then he opens the ears of men, and seal their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword” Job 33:14-18

We must not allow our impressions, blinding emotions or other pressure-packed forces to influence our decision making, else we will not be guided by divine direction in our pursuit of the will of God for our lives and ministry on planet earth. However other negative influences includes wrong assessment, overconfidence, procrastination, immediate gratification, patterning or mirroring what we are to do with what others [like our mentors], are doing, and limiting the search for viable answers; these are among the culprits that misguide our choices and bad choices in life and ministry.

God is the source of all wisdom. He created us all and placed His gifts and callings within us so that we can use it to His glory and understand the worth of the gifts. God will lead us in a path that will fulfill His plans for our lives and ministry. He is the one that direct our path in order to fulfill His plans for He alone knows the direction we are to follow and will lead us accordingly.

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shall go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee” Psalms 32:8-9

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” Rom. 8:14

The Lord who is the Spirit is the one that will lead and teach us in the way that we should go and we must be constantly obedient to His leading. Human beings from the inception of creation are meant to exercise dominion and the new creation cannot effectively walk in complete and continuous dominion except we exercise authority based on what we have been shown in dreams and visions, what we have heard or seen in the Word of God or inspired in our spirit man.

Divine direction is also an instrument of consecration and sanctification for it is what we hear and see spiritually that helps us to do away with carnality and walk in the spirit so that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. We must create a spiritually serene atmosphere for us to hear the direction that God will want us to take. There is a way that seems right but the end thereof leads to path of death [Pr. 16:25]. Man in his best state is incapable of making reliable and durable decisions. No human effort can make God’s directions

The Israelites coming out of Egypt were led in the Old Testament by the pillar of cloud and fire [Deut. 8:3-4]; and through the Urim and the Thummin [Numbers 18:24-27]. They were later led by the Prophets [1 Chron. 15:18, Amos 3:7-8]. They were also led through dreams [Gen. 28:11, Judges 6:11-12], also by angels [Luke 1:17]. We are led in the New Testament by prophets, word of God, intuition, visions and trances [Acts 9:11-12 – Ananias and Saul].

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left” Isa 30:21

The Shepherds at the time of the birth of Jesus were first led by Angels and later led by stars [Matt. 2:9]. There is also the inner witness [Romans 8:14] which is accentuated through constant studying and reading the word of God, and constant prayers. You can also have inner voice directions, and godly counsels which must not contradict the word of God. We do not know the way and we must allow God to lead the way. We will always need God’s guidance! Misdirection will lead to many years of setback. We must locate ourselves in God’s master plan. We must manifest the spirit of obedience to God’s perfect will.

The woman who Elisha spoke to the King about left her properties after Elijah prophesied about Famine for seven years and moved to Philistia. She was warned of the coming famine and she obeyed in seeking temporary dwelling in Philistia. Later when she returned all her properties were restored unto her. We must recognize and obey the word of the Lord that is spoken by those who God gave spiritual oversight over us. As you take a step of obeying the directives of God, the doors shall open before you [Prov. 4:12]. This woman had to leave all her properties behind in obeying divine leading but they were all restored because she walked in obedience to God’s directive. Provision and restoration come with obeying God’s counsel.Jesus Christ said the sheep hears His voice and follow Him [John 10:4]. We must have internal respectability to God’s voice. Even Jesus obeyed the leading of the Father to the core. He always say I always do what pleases the Father or as I hear so I do.

“And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf” Gen 37:5-7

Joseph was shown two dreams about what his future hold[1 Kings 8:1]. Delayed or partial obedience is disobedience, just like King Saul killed part of the Amalekites and spared the king and the choice animals when instructed to totally annihilate them by God. These divine revelation top Joseph shaped and directed his life to follow after until God Himself led him until by divine ordination that dream was brought to pass in the natural.

It is the Spirit that always drive us to understand the mind set of God for his ways and thoughts are higher that our own thoughts or ways. The Word of God is the other side of the coin of the Spirit that God uses to lead us to understand His will.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” Isa 55:8-9

God has a divine plan for all our lives. It is the duty of God to hide such plans like gold deep down the earth but it is our prerogative to search them out. It is not our responsibility to create a plan, purpose, future or ambition but it is our responsibilities to find out the mandate of heaven for our lives so that we don’t carnally operate our lives and ruin our maker’s objectives and goals. [Jer. 1:5]. There can only be fulfillment, achievement and flourishing when we correctly locate God’s plan so that no unnecessary tears will be shed, or we go through lifetime of hardship when purpose is not known and misdoing is inevitable.

We will be lost if we follow the wrong directions or make the wrong moves. God will or may not reveal the whole plans at one time but a continual following of His ways, obeying His dictates and hearing to do through His Spirit will help us to continually hear His directives, prosper in our ways and obtain. We must be consistent and daily check with Him so that we can follow and do His plans that unfolds in phases and some things must mandatorily be done before others. We must not put the cart before the horse. There is a way that seems right to man to follow in pursuit of God’s will but the end of such road is destruction.

Vision is the unfolding of God’s master plan while direction is the steps you must take in order to accomplish the vision. We must follow God’s plans appropriately for wisdom is profitable to direct [Eccl. 10:5-7, 10]. Once you locate God’s directive, navigating through life becomes easy like Sunday morning. It is divine direction sandwiched in double layer of wisdom that helps to make vision work out effectively and powerfully. Knowing divine direction helps you traverse through life without stress or fear. It helps to locate the inherent talents and gifts placed in you by God so that you are capacitated to cruise effortlessly.

We must locate where we belong in destiny and get the direction on how to get there so that our lives do not end up in frustrations and struggles because of lack of direction.

“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teach thee to profit, which lead you by the way that thou should go. O that thou had hearkened to my commandments! Then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea” Isa 48:17-18

God promised in the scripture above to teach us what to do in order to profit, and to lead us in the way to go and the end result will be peace and righteousness.

“You have shown me the paths that lead to life, and your presence will fill me with joy” Act 2:28 GNB

God specializes in showing us what we need to do in order to lead us to life here and after and when we follow that path, His Presence will fill us with joy [Psalms 16:11].

  1. To succeed in life and ministry [David asked, “shall I pursue” 1 Sam. 30:8]. A race is set before us to run and we need God’s direction in order to be successful in it according to the Word of God.
  2. It is an evidence of the Presence of God in our lives. “Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God, Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to SHOW you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day”Psalms 103:39
  1. It gives light in decision making; divine illumination exposes all the alternatives [there is a way that seems right unto man – Prov. 14:12], and shows both the best way and the pitfalls ahead. Only God’s direction gives light…“Moreover thou lead them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go” Neh. 9:12
  1. It is necessary for cheap victory in all battles of life. It is God’s help to the children of Zion [Romans 8:14] and foster a closer walk with God hereby bringing maturity and perfection. Potentials are developed and executed when God directs.
  1. Divine direction helps to accomplish God’s plans and purpose in our lives. You will develop strength when you walk in divine direction.

The word of God and the voice of the Spirit are the two ways to locate divine directions and they work together.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path…The entrance of thy words give light; it gives understanding unto the simple” Ps. 119:105, 130

Spend time with God in His word and the light that direct and guide will shine forth in your path. All failure can be traced to scripture violation and disobedience to the voice of the Spirit who says “He who has ears let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church”.

Philip was led by the Spirit to join the chariot on the road that lead to Gaza [Acts 8:29] and he ministered powerfully to the Ethiopian Eunuch. Peter was led in a trance while Cornelius was led by angels.

“While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them” Act 10:19-20

Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit will guide us into all the truth [John 16:13] so that we can effectively fulfill kingdom mandate. The Spirit does not speak his own words but will communicate unto us whatsoever he hears the Father speak. If you struggle to follow or walk in line with God’s will for your life and ministry then you are planning to fail and be stagnated and struggling in all facet of life. If you are challenged in fulfilling God’s will, your progress may be slow but you will move forward nonetheless. Only the people who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior [John 3:3, 5] qualifies to be led by Him. Other factors includes being meek like Moses [Ps. 25:9] and such are the ones God reveals His ways to like Moses [Ps. 103:7]. We must understand that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him by faith [Heb. 11:6].

“Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work where unto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. Act 13:1-3

Fellowshipping with the brethren and in the Spirit helps a lot to reveal the mind set of God per time so that the body of Christ can be appropriately led by the Spirit. We must be like Jesus who waking up early in the morning looked for a quiet and solitary place in order to commune with the Father [Mark 1:35], for it is in quietness and in confidence that our strength is perfected [Isaiah 30:15]. Thanksgiving, praise and worship must be a continual lifestyle of those who understand divide direction [Read Psalms 138:1-3].

“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee” Gen 12:1

The impetus of God is to always show us the place that He has set for us to prosper. It may not look the place of prosperity like the land where Isaac planted [Genesis 26:1-12] but if you stay with God, you will definitely reap a hundred fold.

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and SHOW you great and mighty things, which you know not” Jer. 33:3

“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will SHOW thee things which must be hereafter” Rev 4:1

Divine direction gives us the boldness to go through difficult tasks after we have heard the directives of God. That was what gave Joshua the boldness and confidence to fight the giants in the Promise Land [Joshua 1: 1-9] because he knows that God that cannot fail has promised him [Numbers 23:19].

  1. Know that only God has the answer: God is the source of all wisdom and the answer or solutions to all our problems…For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding…Then shall thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path” Prov. 2:6
  2. Ask in prayers for wisdom. We ask and God releases wisdom to help in the time of need. “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him” James 1:5
  3. We must believe and have faith that God will definitely guide us. We must recognize the fact that God actually want to communicate with us and help in understanding what His will is per time.“The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining even brighter till the full light of day” Pro 4:18. It is only as we pray that our decisions becomes clearer and matches with the will of God.
  4. Our faith in God’s kind of wisdom must be backed up with works that is applying the directives of God to get godly results. We move applying godly directives by and we explore every godly creative abilities to get godly results
  5. We must always check our decisions if they are in line with the word of God and characteristic of true godly wisdom…This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be in-treated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy” James 3:17

The below stated scripture categorically says that it is only those who are led by the Spirit of God that are the children of God and will eventually prosper in their endeavors. To be led is that Greek word “ago” which is to be driven by a force.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” Rom 8:14

We have come to the season when we must be piloted and told what to do by the Spirit of God if we want to prosper. All that we will do must not contradict the word of God if we want to prosper thereafter.

Commitment, Continuity and Consecration

Commitment, Continuity and Consecration

“And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. BE WATCHFUL, AND STRENGTHEN THE THINGS THE THINGS WHICH REMIAN, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” Rev 3:1-5

God is calling us back into a godly commitment, we must be totally dedicated to the Lord’s cause and totally adhere to do the works as ministers in order to please the Master who called us. We must have a strong sense of intention to please God, be totally dedicated to Him, and be totally focused to do His bidding with all our heart. We must be binding like with an oath to God’s cause of action or totally obligated and restricted in our actions, deeds and thought hereby restricting our freedom of action [doing God’s will from our heart] in order to please the Master. We must begin to serve God out of commitment to His cause and not out of compulsion or convenience. Such are only free to do as God commands.

Ministry is not a means to an end but the end of all means serving God out of a pure heart [2 Chron. 25:2], having the right motives and diligently or ardently pursuing doing God’s will according to the prescription and the specification that God set as a pattern to do the works. Committed ministers are always willing to give all their time and energy only to the Lord’s cause or request. Commitment is a willingness to give our time and energy to God in whom we believe and wholly dedicated to His cause.

“But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul”  Joshua 22:5 [also Mark 12:30]

The strongest commitment to God is found in the above statement by Joshua the Son of Nun. Loving God with all our heart is priority to Kingdom service [also in Matt. 22:37-38]. Every fiber of our being, every facet of our lives and diligence in godly service must be focused on diligence in the service of the Master. Such lovers of God willingly agree to serve and obligated to take up responsibilities given to them in such services unto the Lord. Good attitude, loyalty and dedication important in such commitment unto the Lord.

Our service must be selfless, sacrificial and diligently accepting, following and heeding Christ who is our sole authority, guiding light and our unmistaken compass. Jesus strongly spoke that such commitment demands putting Him in first place over father, mother, father, brother and sisters [Luke 12:51-53]; and seeking first Christ and His kingdom with a guarantee that all other things shall be added unto us.

“And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the LORD his God. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.” 2 Chron. 31:20-21

Picking up on our key text [Rev. 2 and 3], in other addresses to the Seven Churches in Asia Minor our Lord began with commendation, but no such word to the Church in Sardis but rebuke. Christ is described in the fullness of His glorious nature, but this church is full of unfulfilled, compromised and dead works. This is so true of the Church today! We begin and do not finish aright, skirt the edges but do not penetrate to the heart, are superficial and disconnected, lazy and not devoted, behave like hirelings when we are sons of God and have been chosen to do the works of Christ.

We do not only fall by the way side but encourages others to join the queue leading to hell fire by our works. The love and deceitfulness of wealth and riches and what money can buy, the cares of this world, little bit of afflictions, persecutions and tribulations choke and strangulates pure, decent and moral love and services to the Lord from such heart.

“Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.” Luke 13:24-27

Imagine Jesus Christ saying to the five-fold ministers depart from me for I know you not. In the other rendition of this text [Matt. 25:31-46], Jesus called some of us self-centered by not taking good care of the sheep when we as shepherd has been appointed to care for them body, soul and spirit but we deserted them when they were sick, hungry and under the attack of the enemies.

But he will tell you, ‘I don’t know where you come from. Get away from me, all you who practice evil!’ Luke 13:27 ISV

How few can say with the Master, “I have finished the work”; and of how few it can be said, as by Paul of the Baptist, “He fulfilled his course”! [Acts 13:25]. We must become like Jesus in image and likeness, full of Christ-like behavior or fruits of the Spirit [Gal. 5:22-23]. Part of our responsibilities is to totally become like Christ, be loyal to His cause, strong sense of intention and totally focused on the Lord’s work.

Amid all the disappointing lifestyle in the world today, there were a few living souls who fulfilled their works and did not defile their robes [Holy, righteous and committed]. Men today have become lovers of money and the smallest persecution triggers backsliding of many. Lying, unforgiveness, immoralities and bitterness made many to draw close to hell than paradise!

Does not this suggest the Transfiguration or transformation to become like Christ is negated? Our white linen of right standing with God must be evident. Our holiness must be impeccable! On the holy Mount, the holy garments of Jesus shone with light; and so the inner purity of the saint MUST shine through and glorifies Christ simplest acts of holiness and righteousness. The holiness we adhere to in this life shall be rewarded by the white robes glistering with the glory of God.

“Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the LORD thy God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavored-ness: for that is an abomination unto the LORD thy God. If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant, And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded; And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel: Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.” Deut. 17:1-5

Non commitment to spiritual matters and serve unto our God especially working contrary to the covenant or the terms of service stipulated by God is rewarded by spiritual death. To be carnal is death [Jer. 44:22; Ezek. 6:9, Ezek. 18:21-22]! To do the works according to heaven’s stipulation results in life and peace.

“But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master know not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand…And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.” Genesis 39:8, 22

Like Joseph in Egypt, Jesus has committed all things for Kingdom exploits in our hands, we must keep those things committed into our hands by God then He will stir from heaven to take us up to the next level and commit much more into our hands just like the keeper of the prison committed much more into Joseph’s hand. Take note though that we must have the same attitude and nature of Joseph by sticking to our gun and say “How can I do this evil and SIN against my God”. We must like Joseph and Timothy “…keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called”[1 Tim. 6:20]

“And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spoke unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.” Zech. 3:1-5

The greatest virtue is to live and be committed like Christ so that men can see our good works else if we live otherwise, we will drive men that ought to come into the kingdom away to live a carefree life and become sons of perdition.

I pray that we will contact with the divine mercy of the Lord just like Joshua the High Priest did so that our filthy garment can be exchanged for white linen and a new mitre can be placed on our head with the inscription “Holiness unto our God”.

Jesus is described in the fullness of His glorious nature, but this church is full of unfulfilled, filthy and uncommendable works. What a striking phrase and how true! We begin and do not finish, hear the living word but it does not penetrate to our hearts; we are insincere and disconnected from spirit led life.

There are four evidences of spiritual life. In a living church there will be growth, compassion, unity, and love; and the Lord missed all these in the Sardis Church and bitterly lamented their absence. Of what use was the fig tree to abate His hunger, when it bore leaves but no fruit? Unfruitfulness is the magnet that draws one towards hell fire.

Amid all this disappointing lifestyle, there were a few live souls who fulfilled their works and did not defile their robes. Does not this suggest that these have been purged, cleansed, set apart and consecrated to God’s holy use? Their righteousness or right standing with God is not as filthy menstrual rags! The inner purity or beauty of the committed saint shines through and glorifies and does the acts of our Lord Jesus. The holiness we love in this life shall be rewarded by the white robes.

Remember Lot’s wife.

“Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.” Luke 17:33

“Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.”  Rev. 3:3

  1. How you received the Word

You exchanged the bad for the good

“Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:21-22

  1. How you heard the Word

You treated the word as your lifeline

“But he that received seed into the good ground is he that HEARD the word, and understand it; which also bears fruit, and bring forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”  Mat 13:23

  1. Hold fast to what you hear

You cling to the word

“Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwells in us.” 2 Tim. 1:13-14

  1. Repent of your evil deeds or immoralities

Acknowledge the fact that you have fallen from Grace and repent

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord”[Act 3:19]

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”  2 Timothy 1:7

Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. Fear brings torment and negates faith without which we cannot please the Lord. God who sent us is most powerful and creator of all things. So if we are on this mission by His commissioning, then we should maintain that no weapon fashioned against us can prosper.

Lack of Confidence

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.” Heb. 10:35

Jesus Christ who called us is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Confidence in His Lordship should cause us to stand strong and be bold like a Lion.

“For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end.” Heb. 3:14

We must have confidence in our calling and who called us. No stress or opposition can overcome us for we are fortified to succeed.

Unawareness of Divine Mandate

When men are ignorant of divine mandate and what they are anointed to do, it will be hard to fulfill kingdom mandate. Moses was told seven times “see that you build the tabernacle according to the pattern shown to you on the Mount”. When we know what to do on behalf of the Lord, we will be able to connect with divine wisdom and finances needed to do the works. Until the day that Jehu knew that he was anointed a king, he remained a captain of the army. [1 Kings 19:15-16; 2 kings 9:1-2]

“Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.”  2 Tim 2:1-5

Such faithful men must leave everything else to follow Master Jesus, but most of us do not. Until Peter got rid of his boat and John and James got rid of their net the POWER of the anointing did not come upon them. [Acts 2:1-12]. It was only borrowed anointing of Christ that worked until then.

“And the [instructions] which you have heard from me along with many witnesses, transmit and entrust [as a deposit] to reliable and faithful men who will be competent and qualified to teach others also.” 2 Tim 2:2 AMP

Faithful men …

  1. Hear, live and teach Christ principles and patterns
  2. Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ
  3. Does not entangles himself with the affairs of this world
  4. Strive to please the Master who chose him [It is a privilege to be chosen]
  5. Strive lawfully [do not cut corners, walk and work legitimately and do all things agreeably to the rules, ordinances, ways, commandment of the master]

There are three allegories that Paul the Apostle used to depict faithful men; that is soldier, athletic and husbandman

Soldier: 2Timothy 2:1-4

There is grace enough in Jesus for every need, but we must avail ourselves of it. We can expect nothing less than hardship or suffering in the process of coming up to Mount Zion, since life is a battlefield and we encounter contending powers on the way. Our one aim should be to please Him who chose us to be soldiers. In order to be all that he would have us be, we must avoid entangling ourselves in the carnal conditions around us. We must resemble a garrison in the town where it is quartered, and from which it may at any hour be summoned away.

“Demas loved this world too much. That is why he left me. He went to Thessalonica” 2Timothy 4:10 ERV

Relevant scriptures: Luke 9:61-62, Luke 14:26-27, Luke 14:33, Luke 16:13, Luke 17:32; Phil. 2:21; 1Tim. 6:10

The less encumbered we are with the affairs of this life [carnality and worldliness – materialism, greed, copy catting others, filth or ungodly riches or seems to be making it after the world’s pattern but has lost their position in God and have the “acquiring all” mentality], the more easily shall we be able to execute the least command of our Great Captain. How high an honor it is to be enrolled among His soldiers!

“Don’t love this evil world or the things in it. If you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. This is all there is in the world: wanting to please our sinful selves, wanting the sinful things we see, and being too proud of what we have. But none of these comes from the Father. They come from the world. The world is passing away, and all the things that people want in the world are passing away. But whoever does what God wants will live forever.” 1 John 2:15-17 ERV

Soldiers are trained to fight. So are all Christians, we have the devil constantly engaging us in warfare in order to fall us from glory. Him and the demons we must resist after submitting wholly unto God else we will make a shipwreck of our Christian faith or race.

“This order I give to you, Timothy my son, in harmony with the words of the prophets about you, so that by them you may be strong, fighting the good fight, Keeping faith, and being conscious of well-doing; for some, by not doing these things, have gone wrong in relation to the faith” 1Timothy 1:18-19 BBE

Athlete: 2 Timothy 2:5

Athlete like Mike Tyson in his hay days have disciplined lifestyle and lives a regimented life. He goes to bed early in order to start training by 5 am. He eats certain diets and avoids other diets like avoiding a plague, trains six days a week especially when preparing for a fight, avoids alcohol, lifts heavy weights, run the tracks daily, labor hard training with a sparring partner that does not spare him but box him hard in order to prepare him for the fights ahead.

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours. Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither. Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary. But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit]” 1 Cor. 9:24-27 AMP

Life is an amphitheater or stadium, filled with spiritual spectators. Probably our worst opponent is found in our own heart. If we win the crown, we must observe regulations as to godly diet, exercise, purity and holiness [1 Cor. 9:24-27, 2 Cor. 7:1]].

Husbandman: 2 Timothy 2:6

We ought to be working for God in His vineyard or harvest-field; and we are allowed to partake of the fruits. It is imperative that we should be nourished while we labor. In all these positions we must remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead. We must draw upon the power of His resurrection, and to do this, we must live on the heaven-side of the Cross. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live,” Gal. 2:20.

We have been given the seed of the word to sow in the lives of men such that they will grow as the planting of the Lord and so the LORD must find “fruit of the Spirit” on such branches as proof of the genuineness and worthiness of our labor. We must continue to plant the Word of Life in the heart of men, water it continually by way of reminding them the truth while we yet trust the Lord of the Harvest to bring increase and fruitfulness in the lives of those who we minister to.

In order for the WORD of God to grow in our hearts and prevail over every circumstances of life, we must read, study, meditate and do the word of the Master continually. There are two memorable gifts from the heavenly Father first is the unspeakable gift called the Holy Spirit and secondly is the Word of Life. The Holy Spirit works tenaciously wherever we produce the word of life that comes from the lips of the Father. In the very beginning the Father make sure that the Spirit of Jehovah is brooding over the people [sea] in a chaotic situation and once He declared the word,  boom there was light

“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Acts 20:32

Paul the Apostle admonishing the Church, committed us unto God and that WORD which is able to build us into godly maturity and guarantee our sanctification or excellent consecration. Desecration, pollution, contamination, defilement or unholy lifestyle cause impurity in our hearts and we will lose face with God. Constant eating of the Word of God causes us to put off all these pollutants and put on the garment of righteousness such that Satan dare not hinder us seeing he has no vices in us.

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2Tim. 2:15

It is only after you have read and studied the Word that you can now sit back and meditate like a ruminant animal [goat, sheep] and assimilate the Word so that you can have good success and prosper when you observe to do what is written therein.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

God is still looking for faithful, loyal, committed, trust worthy and God fearing men unto who He can commit heavenly grace and gifts unto so that they can stand holy and righteous; doing the works of God from a pure heart like Moses. He is looking for the Mordecai and Esther of our days who can defy dignitaries in order to please the Master saying if I perish in the quest of this kingdom assignment, let me perish.

“My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?” Numbers 12:8
