The blessing of the Lord–it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it] Prov. 10:22 AMP
Blessing is something that contributes to happiness, wellbeing [good will] or prosperity. It is the act of invoking divine help, protection or aid, support or assistance. It is the bestowal of divine gift or favor. It is a special favor, mercy, benefit or good wishes. It is the release of divine approval. Blessings are statements of blessings are a wish for God to RESTORE or to declare His inherited goodness. Blessings in this context are beneficial release from the throne room of grace for which one must be grateful to receive from God. Lastly it means to be highly favored by God
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. Luke 1:28 KJV
God distinguished, set up for blessing and separated for the goodness of the Lord Mary the mother of Jesus that there was an invocation of blessing upon her that nobody else on planet earth ever had. I see blessings heaped upon heap upon you such that the whole world will glorify God for you in Jesus name. Receive blessings incomparable with any other in Jesus mighty name.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. Gen 1:28-30 KJV
The first pronouncement towards man that God created was the word of blessings. God gave us His own meaning of blessing as being
- Be fruitful
- Multiply
- Replenish the earth
- Subdue
- Have dominion
- I have given you every herb… animals
Blessings are also divine release or injunction from the mouth of a superior especially prophets to the people of God or from father to son like the below scripture where Isaac blessed Jacob
And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed: Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee. Gen 27:28-29
God is our divine Father and he wishes to bless us even more than Isaac blessed his son Jacob. Blessings of dew [prosperity], plenty of coin [sustenance], wine [revelation knowledge] and dominion over siblings come upon you now. Receive now in Jesus Name
Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD’S temple was laid, consider it. Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: FROM THIS DAY I WILL BLESS YOU. Hag 2:18-19 KJV
God has affirmed that FROM TODAY… He will bless you.
You are blessed going out
You are blessed coming in
Your children are blessed
Your household is blessed
Whatever you lay your hand to do shall prosper because your hands are blessed
Your business is blessed
Your health is blessed… No more sugar diabetes… No more high blood pressure… No more barrenness IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
Your marriage is blessed
Your ministry is blessed
No more curses…. In the name of Jesus
Every household curses are reversed in the name of Jesus
Every soul tie is shattered in the name of Jesus
Chains and shackles inhibiting your progress is destroyed
Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose help is in Jehovah his God Psalm 146:5 MKJV
We are ordained to be blessed after the order of the blessings of Jesus Christ who has the glory of God that was full of grace and glory or spiritual blessings upon spiritual blessings
For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift. John 1:16 AMP
There are natural blessings and there are spiritual blessings.
The word of God stated categorically that we have been blessed with spiritual blessings, receive now spiritual blessings heaped upon spiritual blessings IJN
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Eph. 1:3 KJV
Every prophet and priest like Aaron has been commanded by God to bless the people of God and release the glory of God upon His people… May His face shine upon thee…
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. Numbers 6:22-27 KJV
The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you; The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you; The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually). And they shall put My name upon the Israelites, and I will bless them. Numbers 6:24-27 AMP [also in Psalm 67:1- ]
The blessing promised in Numbers 6 is reinforced by the account of Balaam in Numbers 22-24. The king of Moab hired Balaam to curse the people of Israel (22:4-6); but each time Balaam opened his mouth, he blessed them instead of cursed them (Num. 23:8, 20; 24:9-10). Balaam, in spite of his skills and renown as a prophet, was powerless to bless or curse Israel without the Lord’s direction (cf. Deut 23:4-5; Josh. 24:9-10; Neh. 13:1-2). It’s a strong indication that no magic or rituals will make a difference; the authority to bless belongs to the Lord who cannot be compelled. It means no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. YOU ARE UNCURSEABLE when the Lord has invoked blessings upon you
You carry so much blessings upon you such that even people around you shall be blessed. Just like Potipher’s business prospered because of the involvement of Joseph in it. PRAYER
And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. Gen 39:4-5 KJV
There are outright blessings and conditional blessings. Conditional blessings are predicated on you obeying certain ordinances of God. Scriptures like Deut. 28:1-13, 11:27. Psalm 24:3-5. Beatitudes of Matthew 5
COVENANT OF BLESSINGS
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Gal 3:13-14 KJV
We are partakers of every blessings conferred upon Abraham. These blessings are trans generational, it shall be upon your children and upon your children, children in Jesus Mighty name
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed Gen 12:1-3 KJV [ also in Gen.18:18; 22:18; 26:4; 28:14)
And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Gen 22:15-18
Even after his being proved by God, God invoked blessings upon Abraham, multiplication of seed and that his seed that possess the gate of his enemies and in him shall all the nations be blessed
And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south. Deut. 33:23 KJV
Naphtali means wrestling or struggling. You may have been wrestling or struggling with principalities or powers, dominion and authorities or household enemies until now. But I say to you that IT IS OVER FOREVER! You shall have plenteous and satisfactory favor from today in the name of Jesus. You shall OVERFLOW and be running over with the blessing of the LORD in Jesus Mighty name… So no more lack IJN
Ultimate blessings are the forgiveness of sins through the atoning death on the cross and the salvation of souls
For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. Heb 6:13-14 KJV
As we obey the Lord, so the God promised fruitfulness will come into our lives, living in peace and plenty. WE WILL ENTER INTO OUR PROMISED LAND. The early and latter rains WILL COME each year at the right time giving abundant harvests. There was no drought or famine. There shall be showers of blessings
We shall possess the land of Israel – ‘the land of milk and honey’ – a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills. A land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey Deuteronomy 8: 7, 8
HEAR THE PROMISE OF GOD UNTO US
I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing, and I will cause the showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing of good insured by God’s favour. The tree of the field shall yield its fruit and the earth shall yield its increase. Ezekiel 34: 26, 27a
IT IS TIME TO PRAY…

Don’t allow the Angel of the Lord to go until He blesses you.
And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. 1 Chron. 4:9-10 KJV
BLESSINGS
Benevolence of God will always shine on you.
Light of His glorious Word will daily teach you.
Each gracious gift so freely bestowed upon you, shall manifest.
Sacrifice of the blood of Lord Jesus, will bring forgiveness unto you.
Spirit of the Lord God will always guide and keep you.
His mercy and loving kindness will be there always for you.
His joy and peace shall rest within you.
