Whenever a farmer plants a tree, the expected end point is that the tree will grow into maturity and ultimately produce fruit and bear much fruit. Every skilled farmer knows what to diligently do so that their farm or vineyard can produce much fruits. God has taken time to call, train and mature priests and minister and He expect that we will bear much spiritual fruits as a reward of His toiling and vigorous works over us as trees of righteousness and that we will become mature, skilful and useful in the kingdom of God.

When the Holy Spirit come with a refreshing and a rekindling of fire called “anointing of the Holy Spirit with Fresh Oil”, our spiritual apparatus will be sparked, activated or restored. It is the Presence of the Lord that makes a difference by releasing the power of the Holy Spirit for positive change in our lives. There will be a spiritual IGNITION.

True ministry is always inspired and directed by the Holy Ghost. “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me.” The minister does not speak in his own name, or work in his own strength. A ministry without the Holy Ghost is a cloud without water; a Church without the Holy Ghost is a tree twice dead that cannot too soon be plucked up by the roots. That our service may be animated by the Holy Spirit, and should express Divine ideas and purposes, is clear from the consideration that ours is not an earthly ministry contemplating earthly matters.

When we are working not for this world only, but for worlds we have never seen, and which have been revealed to us by a Spirit which is not of this world, we have to be careful that we work not in our own strength or after our own imagination, but clearly, steadily, and constantly along the line of Divine inspiration.

Where there is no wood the fire goes out. We must collect fire WOOD and reignite the fire. Only then can we walk in the fullness of God and become efficient in our spiritual life and walk in the fullness of the potential that “life in the Spirit” provides for. It is the heavenly Father’s good pleasure to plant trees and that such tree be fruitful just like He did in the very beginning that He planted the Garden of Eden and it was a fruitful venture [Gen. 2:8].

“How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel! As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river’s side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters” Numbers 24:5-6

The Tragedy among believers now is the gross ineffectiveness and fruitlessness that continue to trail our Christian experience and the mirage of activities that has snuffed out good, great and godly activities yet our lives spells inefficiency, frustrations and fruitlessness.

What we declare as ministers seems to be empty noise because most times we do not see energy from the Throne Room released to authenticate the Word spoken or preached. There must be evidence, proof and a system of consolation such that when a man walks with God alone, positive vibes of response from God should happen to validate our declarations but also most times, it is not so; we speak but not so much release from the Throne Room to authenticate what we speak. Such authentication should have been an encouragement to us to show that we are on the right track and also an encouragement to others who serve God under our ministry that they can taste and see that the Lord is good. This should happen so the Lord can be glorified in them.
