God the creator of heaven and earth declared above that because of Zion, His own Church, the Holy Mount and the place of His Presence, He will not be silent nor give Himself rest, till He has gloriously executed His work of grace in there. Zion has been in the shade, but the time has come when her righteousness will go forth as the light, which bursts through the night. The current situation of the Church may be horrendous but God who never lie has declared that the season of her restoration, time to favor her (Psalms 102:13) and the time of its glorification has come.
The Lord delights in perfecting all that concerns the Church and bringing salvation unto all men. The Messiah of Zion is fiery and luminously driving away the foes of His people. The righteousness and the glory of Zion who is now called by a new name far exceed all the nations put together. God has taken over Zion by dwelling in its midst and perfecting all things concerning her. Zion shall be holiness unto God and not anymore will corruption nor desolation fill her. God is set to transform Zion until it become like the Garden of Eden and its people transformed into the image of Christ. Only then shall we know “what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints” (Eph. 1:8).
Zion or the Body of Christ only have a superficial understanding of their preciousness in the sight of God. The LORD loves Zion dearly that is why He is the bridegroom and Zion is His bride. He calls us Hephzibah because “He delights greatly in us”. The same idea is beautifully communicated below:
“The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing”
Zephaniah 3:17
The spiritual habitation of God called the body of Christ does not understand the depth of Love that God has for her. No wonder Paul made a special prayer that we could somehow begin to comprehend such love, that we may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height; to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge (Eph. 3:18-19).
