Looking at the law of first mention, the Holy Spirit [Gen. 1:2] was at the very center of creation where all that will make men comfortable as “made a little lower than the Elohim” were created by the action of the Word and Spirit of God [Psalms 8:5]. There the spiritual Water of Life [Holy Spirit] was hovering over the physical water of life [believers] that the book of Revelation said … “The waters which thou saw, where the whore sit, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues” [Rev. 17:5]. So it is obvious from the beginning of time that the Holy Spirit who broods over the heart of men and manifests eternity there is well aware of His job to implant the kingdom of God in the heart of men.
I make bold to say that from the beginning of creation, God meant that there will be a downloading of the eternal Spirit to cohabitate with men [in their heart: spirit-man] who are born again by the same Spirit so that the eternal power, glory, anointing, grace, blessings, glory and other eternity virtues can come and cohabitate with the spirit of man so that we can say that the eternity of God now dwells in the heart of man. Of course this will eventually lead to the physical manifestation of the things that we have downloaded from the Throne Room of Grace.
The word “I will pour My Spirit” signifies that what God is releasing upon His people is plentiful, continuous, mega and abundant measure of His Spirit. God is not stingy about the measure of the Holy Spirit being released in our hearts. That is why water, rivers, streams, well and other abundantly flowing metaphors were used to describe this heavenly release.
This is the way that eternity meant for the children of God while on planet earth are released and it is God’s Riches at Christ expense and blessings that are trans-generational. Also using the law of first mention we have a good understanding of the blessings released upon us as being fruitful, multiply, subdue, reign over and have dominion in all sphere of life [Genesis 1:26-29] with the condition that such blessed men are those who are continually being found in the likeness and image of God in an ever increasing splendor through the ministry of the Word and Spirit of God [2 Cor. 3:18, John 6:63].
